PSD and Alpha Channel vs Background Trans. vs Alpha Mask

Post by Temujiing »

Hello Everyone!

I've read many post about alpha and PSD format. I've read the IM Example. So far, from what I've seen is Image Magick is not able to handle all the type of transparency from a PSD file.

I cannot upload psd file for now but I'll do it this evening.

here a description of my sample file.

PSD with one layer, there is an alpha channel and background transparency. When Using Convert.exe or via ExportImagePixels() function. The alpha channel is filled with the Alpha from the BG transparency not from the Alpha Channel.

Anyone had success with this?

Thanks you very much

Temujiing.

Here my ImageMagick information :
