PAID: Ongoing ImageMagick Advice/Recommendations/Troubleshooting/Coding

Post by GS_NYC »

Hi ImageMagick Experts,

We are an international software development company headquartered in New York City. We are seeking an ImageMagick expert to provide ad hoc consulting services to help us fine tune our integration of ImageMagick with our web applications.

Applicants should possess deep experience developing applications with ImageMagick, thorough understanding of digital image pre- and post-processing techniques, and strong ability to troubleshoot image processing issues, as well as solid experience with applications that perform batch processing of large full-size images (generating various formats/sizes, etc.).

Environment is cross-platform Java and RESTful web services, ImageMagick 6.8.8 (planning to move to 7.0.4).

Thanks for your help!

Might also be wise to share the platform you are working on and how you have integrated ImageMagick in your web application (command line execution / library)

p.s. You could also ask your questions on the User's Forum here and maybe someone can give you some free advice.

Hi dlemstra,

Yes, we are using ImageMagick in command line mode, essentially spawning an instance of ImageMagick for each rendition of a digital asset requiring resizing into a few sizes. There may be more efficient ways to do this, and we need asistance with passing the correct configurations/parameters to ImageMagick.
