Hi folks,

I've got a million dollar question here)))

I have a folder with many eps files, out of which I made jpeg files and gave them the same name as "mother" eps file has. The folder looks like this: http://prntscr.com/nojiro

The problem is that I have metadata for shutterstock in all jpeg files (metadata contain description and meta tags; I enclose one jpeg as an example here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7i53c2rot8e7q ... 5.jpg?dl=0

And I need this metadata to be copied into corresponding eps files.

Could someone please help me on how to do that?

Best I can suggest is EXIFTOOL. See https://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/. But I do not see any unique meta data in your JPG file. What kind of meta data do you need to transfer?

Thank you very much, I'll check it.

Here's metadata that I entered using Xpiks: http://prntscr.com/nokilg But, unfortunalely, it allows to work only with jpegs.

That looks like you will have to add that to the comments field. I do not know that EPS has such meta data tags into which to store that information. You can use Imagemagick -set comment to add your meta information into the comments field or use EXIFTOOL.
