Re: Odd, thrown error.

Try removing the ${ and the ending }. I do not think that is correct either for Windows or Unix. Sorry, I am not a Windows user. FOR %a in (D:\Mods\Images\*.jpg) DO D:\Applications\ImageMagick\magick.exe %a -resize "%[fx:2^(ceil(log(w)/log(2)))/2]"x"%[fx:2^(ceil(log(h)/log(2)))/2]" D:\Mods\Images2\%...

Re: How to know the image's transparent space?

Please always identify your IM version and platform and post your input and output images to some free hosting service and put the URLs here so we can see what you are trying to do. Just check the pixel color at your desired coordinate. convert image -format "%[pixel:u.p{x,y}]" info: If the alpha va...

Re: Tiff tags are missing in newest version

IM 6.7.2.7 is ancient by version number. What is your platform? If Linux, then what is the patch date on the version. Did you install from source or from binary? Was it from the Linux distribution? What is the version of libtiff? Is it current? You can get most of that from % escapes. See https://im...

Re: Skew Image by only 1 pixel

What is your platform? Please always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions. If you are on a Unix-like system, then I have a bash unix shell script (skew) for imagemagick that will skew by either degrees or pixels. See my link below.

Re: Possible bug with "-remap"

But your palette for the remap is still 16-bits. You only reduce the depth after processing. Also the -dither should come before the -remap. So I am not sure your description of the issue is compatible with what commands you used. If I set the palette to 8-bit depth and use -dither none, it looks to...

Re: webp and jpg - parameters for high-quality photos

You have not given full command lines for your processing. -filter lanczos does nothing unless you are resizing the image. Sorry, I am not an expert on jpg or webp arguments. And results may depend upon the input image. Perhaps you should try experimenting to see what gives you the best results.

NO! ImageMagick cannot do that. Did you read the post above?

Re: Noto Sans CJK OTF font padding is quite different by comparing to Photoshop result

In ImageMagick 7, use magick not convert and not magick convert. Otherwise, you might get IM 6 results. Don't know if this will make any difference.

Re: How can I determine the visual, background color?

Please always provide your ImageMagick version and platform as syntax may vary. Also it is a good idea to provide what you have tried and an example image. To determine the background color, one way is to simply measure it at some point that is background color, such as the top left corner, perhaps....

Re: Batch changing picture files

use -fuzz XX% -trim +repage rather than -crop. See https://imagemagick.org/Usage/crop/#trim If the background color is constant, you can either remove the -fuzz XX% or use XX=0

Re: Add sRGB-Profile to all files in folder

You need to add * at the end to process every file in the folder. But you should either backup the folder or use -path to a pre-created new folder to hold the output.

Code: Select all

magick mogrify -profile E:\!pf2_kurven\sRGB2014.icc *

See https://imagemagick.org/Usage/basics/#mogrify
