Great stuff, thanks.
Yes.. It seems nobody ever makes their Android imagemagick implementations public.. So I was forced to make my own.. And being the perfectionist I am, I made sure it was complete. It can spare others the pain I had to endure

[Github] [Latest] Android Imagemagick 7

Hi, Growing frustrated at the lack (-> NO) options for imagemagick on Android (unless you want something VERY outdated and half broken), I made my own port of the very latest Imagemagick to android. For anyone who needs this, feel free to use it. It will be a lifesaver for you It is filled with many...

Re: How would you go about separating elements from their background?

Thanks! Non-GNU Linux or macOS are fine too. From there I can figure out how to translate it for Windows.

Re: How to convert color dump to image?

Thanks. Can IM accept other text input formats such as csv, or must the text file's formatting match the dump format exactly?

How to convert color dump to image?

Given: convert rose: txt: > color_dump.txt How can I convert color_dump.txt or any other text-editable list of colors and coordinates back to an image file? The goal is to be able to manually correct a few pixels from images with millions of colors, in vim without opening an image editor, so XBM, XP...

Re: How would you go about separating elements from their background?

In this case, the borders are not fuzzy at all. I am trying to isolate widgets such as fields and buttons from a screenshot.

How would you go about separating elements from their background?

I would like to separate "islands" (icons) from a "sea" (background). The difficulty is that the background can have more than one color depending on the area. In other words, I need to make "islands of content" stand out from the "background sea". I suppose the technique would be somewhat similar t...

Okay. It just seemed odd that they are all the same size (18,945 KB).

Re: Compose: Overlay over multiple coordinates w/o loop

If your command is too long for the shell, write it to a file without the executable name or shell escapes, and run it as a magick script: magick -script myscript.txt A godsend! Aren't compare.exe, composite.exe, conjure.exe, convert.exe, identify.exe, magick.exe, mogrify.exe, montage.exe, and stre...

Re: Compose: Overlay over multiple coordinates w/o loop

80% of the time, yes. I will add a loop to execute IM for every group of 238 coordinates to overcome this limitation. Does that mean there are no shortcuts for -clone and -set page? How come spaces inside the brackets are necessary?

Re: Compose: Overlay over multiple coordinates w/o loop

In Windows, with the maximum length of the command string being limited to 8191 characters and "( -clone 1 -set page +NNNN+NNNN ) " taking up 34 characters -- assuming no shorter forms exist --, the number of coordinates that can fit in a single line is at least 238.

Code: Select all

(8191-90)/34=238

Re: Compose: Overlay over multiple coordinates w/o loop

Thanks! What what if the number of coordinates is not fixed? Can I provide a text file with a list of coordinates? The Pins in a Map example is close, but I am running plain Windows. If not, perhaps I could use a loop to generate the command text, and then execute the result. The idea is to avoid ex...
