I too have the same issue.
Inserting .tif files ,that I've run through ImageMagick, into MS Office 2010 (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) display with a terrible bright green tint.
The original Scanned tif works before I run it through ImageMagick, The operation I ran was:
convert 00000001.tif -rotate ...
